The Bolehland Daily: ARE YOU READY MALAYSIAN? Mass anti-fuel hike rally on July 12

DO YOU WANNA KEEP QUIET, BE A "CHICKEN SHIT" FOREVER AND BE BULLIED FROM GENERATIONS TO GENERATIONS? DO YOU WANNA CONTINUE TO APPROVE THESE GREEDY BASTARDS TO TAKE MORE AWAY FROM ME AND YOU AND MILLION OF MALAYSIANS? DO YOU WANNA CONTINUE TO BE A LOUDMOUTH BUT PLAY IT SAFE WHEN IT MATTER MOST AND CONTINUE TO BE A COWARD? WHY DONT WE TAKE ONE CHANCE, JUST ONE CHANCE, TO MAKE OUR VOICES HEARD LOUD AND CLEAR.

(Malaysiakini) Thousands of people would be mobilised for a mass protest against the shocking increase in fuel prices at the iconic KLCC Twin Towers on July 12. Organisers Coalition Against Inflation (Protes) hopes to gather 100,000 people to call on the government to reduce fuel prices to its original levels before the hike today. "We believe that with such a drastic hike in fuel prices, we will get the support of the masses.

"This is not similar to the Bersih rally. It's going to be bigger. The impact would be bigger," Protes coordinator Dr Hatta Ramli told a press conference today.

Hatta explained that the KLCC Twin Towers was selected as the rally point because it was the headquarters of Malaysia's oil company Petronas.

He argued that Malaysia was an oil producing country and record profits from Petronas should be used to relieve the public from being burdened by the fuel hike.

“We have five weeks to mobilise the crowd and the government has five weeks to react to the people’s demands (to revert fuel prices to their original levels),” he said.

why protest? when we should look at it on the grand scheme.
This means some of us can make money just by buying vehicles from junkyards for less than 200 bucks register it al-cheapo to get insurance and road tax and waits for the rebate of 625 bucks per car. After one obtains the insurance one can cancel it. Imagine if i get 10 old junk cars , my rebate to me will be 625 x 10 .This is even better than getting bluechips from KLSE
So many loop holes here.
And what was the formula used and which genius from umno who came up with the rm 625 per car?

Back to the protest episode, protesting never works. If it works , we wont have the ISA today. As a matter of fact, if protest works , we already said " sayonara " to umno years ago.
